日本にいる皆さんにリアルタイムでSMSの子供たちのことを知っていただきたい、という想いを込めて始めた連載企画「SMS日記」。2回目も、二人の子供たちの日記をご紹介します。

セントアンソニーに通うSMSの日記

Hi! I’m Kate Artistes. I’m 13 years old and I’m a grade 6 student. I have a sister and 2 brothers. My hobby is dancing.
こんにちは。私の名前は、ケート アルテイステスです。１３歳の小学校6年生です。妹と2人の弟がいます。趣味はダンスです。

I go to school at 7 am everyday. Meeting my best friend, and my teacher who always wants the best for his/her students always makes my day.
毎日、朝の7時に学校に通います。友人や生徒たちのことを一番に考える先生に会うのが毎日の楽しみです。

In the future I’m planning to be an English teacher. I want to encourage my students to “Never loose hope because GOD is always there to guide them” .
将来は、教師を目指しています。”いつでも神は私たちの隣で私たちを助けているから、希望をなくさないで“と生徒たちを励ませられるような先生になりたいです。

CICセブの施設でCareloという学校に通っているSMSの日記

Today , I went to school with my neighbor/classmate at 5:30 a.m. I learned a lot in school. At exactly 12:00 in the afternoon , the class ended. Before we go home, we cleaned the classroom. Then I eat lunch together with my best friends. After eating, we practice our intermission number for the Christmas Party. After practicing our intermission number, we went home. I cooked food for our dinner then eat with my siblings.
今日、近所の友達(クラスメート)と午前5：30に学校に行った。私は学校でたくさんのことを学んだ。ちょうど午後12時に授業が終わった。家に帰る前に私たちはクラスの掃除をした。そして、親友とお昼ご飯を食べた。食べ終わったあとに私たちは、クリスマスパーティーでやる出しものの練習をし、そのあと家に帰った。私は夕食の準備をして、兄弟と一緒に食べた。
